So, we've upgraded the board software today with the following features:

• Separate username and password for each moderator.
• User classes: currently there can be admins and there can be moderators. Moderators can do all the same things admins can do, except doing stuff with the SQL database.
• SQL backend for storing account credentials.

</brag> Be sure to report bugs, since there probably are some. And before you see this and say to yourself "KUSABA HAS DONE THAT FOR AGES", we'd like to remind you that we've actually coded this ourselves.

EDIT: No, we haven't done janitor stuff yet. Those wanting to seek position as a staff member should wait until we've announced that position.

I'm bored, so here is some news about past, current and future events. Not that anyone cares.

• Switched back to Apache from Nginx, due to constant bullshit with PHP and rewrite stuff. I've tweaked Apache a bit, so everything should still load reasonably fast, even during heavy traffic.
• New server administrator on the team whom helped set up Apache.
• TLS/SSL encryption with a proper certificate to come very soon. Using it will be obligatory to access the moderator panel, and optional for regular users.
• Programmer and server co-owner died/ragequit/got arrested/an heroed/herped so hard that he derped again, and we have no repository with the work he's done.
• We are no longer taking affiliates. Don't ask.
• Some style modifications.

In other news, I'm thinking about opening two new boards, one with focus on discussion and one with focus on images. Any ideas?
